Introduction

Kassym is a startup founder and investor with 10+ years of experience building digital products across real estate, travel, mobility and social impact. In 2021 he co-founded Squares, a platform that connects people with 2,000+ creative and commercial spaces in 20+ cities. Squares is backed by 500 Global.

Since 2024 he has mentored and advised 200+ early-stage founders in Astana Hub acceleration programs, helping them go from a first idea to an MVP and early sales. He now works as Investment Director at Klever Asset Management, evaluating early-stage investment opportunities across Central Asia.

Earlier in his career Kassym led international sales at DayBreakHotels, where he closed deals with 1,000+ hotels in the US, UK, UAE and Australia, and worked in business development at Yandex.Taxi in Kazakhstan. He is currently based in Southeast Asia.
